The aim of this paper is to study empowerment impact on human resources productivity in Iranian National Tax Organization headquarters to present some solutions for optimum and effective exploitation of these resources as it is the most important factor for an efficient organization. In this research, competence, trust, meaningfulness, effectiveness and freedom dimensions are used for assessing empowerment, and creativity, job satisfaction, organizational commitment and participation dimensions are used for assessing productivity. To test the hypotheses, two separate questionnaires were designed and distributed among 228 personnel of National Tax Organization headquarters as a research sample. By using Spearman and Friedman tests, the results indicate that empowerment and its dimensions have significant and positive impact on human resources productivity. Furthermore by using Entropy techniques it has been chosen that competence, freedom, trust and meaningfulness are the most important dimensions for human resources empowerment. There isn’t also any significant relationship between demographic characteristics and human resources productivity.
