The present study was conducted in Tax Affairs Offices of Tehran city in response to this question that “Whether there is a relationship between employees’ psychological empowerment and their organizational commitment.” The Aspects of employees’ psychological empowerment (consisting of Meaningfulness, Competency, Choice/self determination, Impact and Trust feelings) are considered as independent variables, and organizational commitment as dependent variable. The subjects were selected as a sample group (n=270) based on the descriptive- Survey research method, by using the Relative-Class sampling method, within the tax experts of tax affairs offices of Tehran city (N=1900) and through limited population sampling. For data collection, questionnaire tool was used that are Mishra & Spreitzer standard questionnaire with reliability of 0.81 according to Cronbach`s Alpha, to measure the employees’ psychological empowerment Allen & Meyer standard questionnaire with reliability of 0.92 according to Cronbach`s Alpha, to measure the employees’ organizational commitment. The collected data was analyzed using SPSS software and Pearson`s correlation and multiple regression, also used analysis Linear Log and other helpful tests. The results of the research indicated that there is a relatively strong relationship(R=608) between psychological empowerment and organizational commitment in the sampled population
